Hi chums well today I have a card for you that I made yesterday and boy was it humid very hot and sticky think a thunder storm is due anyways onto my card
Today I have used the fab Some Odd Girl image and I would like to apoligise about the quality of the pic think I might take another one as this one is a bit blurry anyways I coloured her with copics and the papers are some I have had for ages but liked them with this image although I cant remember who they are by sorry.
The butterfly I made from a Joy die that had 3 butterflys and then layered them all up. The pin I made and the flowers are from Mulberry crafts, The organza ribbon is from my stash which I doubles up.
this pic does not do this card justice so I will repost pic today on this post
Some Dew drop gems around the card, then some white lace and string pearls along bottom of card although looking at it now it might need something else not sure what will have a think (I am so critical lol)
Anyways I love this image its so cute and fab to colour.

Distress marker colouring

Hi my crafty friends hope you week is going ok
I am nearly at 300 followers how cool is that wonder who my 300th blogger will be.
I have had a bit of a clean out of my blog to as piccasa was not letting me upload any photo's due to reaching my limit didnt know I had one lol so I deleted any post 2010 2011 not sure if this was the right thing to do but didnt see any other way of being able get more storage without having to pay for it grrrr.
Anyway on to my card for today

I used this really fab image from Whimsy Stamps by Wee stamps and firstly I am a very happy bunny in my journey in practicing colouring with distress inks and markers, as I coloured this image with my distress markers. Firstly although I was using water colouring paper it was just not blending so I bought some different paper from amazon which I might add is very expensive but very thick this made a hole lot of difference, also instead of colouring directly onto the paper with my markers I put my marker onto a laminated sheet and added it with a brush to the paper this has made a hole lot of difference to my end result I was very pleased with myself  this turned out more subtle colour I loved the end result.
I added some glitter to the wings just for that little bit of bling.
The DP is from HOTP floral pad.
The butterflys are a Martha Stewart punch.
The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts.
The ribbon and lace are from my stash.
with some pearl and gold gems to finish, I also used cream cotton in a zigzag patteren on my machine and the sentiment is from LOTV
So there you go hope you like my distress marker colouring as much as I am happy with it lol
thank you for look and all your lovely comments

the clouds are done with a template and Tumbles glass Tim Holts distress inks.
I sewed all around with white cotton I cut out the image with round spellbinders die and scolloped die then used a Cherry Lynne die and slotted the image into the die.
The flowers are made with various sizes of woodware punches
and a leafy punch.
The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch, the sentiment is a CC design sentiment stamp
which I made into a little banner, The pin and bead charm I made myself.
white pearl gems was added around the image also some larger tealy blue gems to the flowers.

La la land and face Contouring

Today I want to show you a card I made at the weekend
I used this fab image from La La Land because I wanted to show you about face contouring when you colour with copics

This image doe'snt actually come with the white part of the eyes in black lines, but I wanted to give her a more contoured face so when colouring the face with copics didnt colour completely around the eyes but left some white I then did shadowing with the using E000 E00, E21, E11 around the eyes and by the nose this gives the face less of a flat look I then added some Blue just around the black of the eye gently with tip of copic marker I will do a tut for you in the next couple of weeks to show it better I have used this method of most of the stamps I use now I love the way it makes the face look more 3d'ish what a good word lol.
The papers I used are from HOTP Floral pad
Dies are magnolia Doohickey vine, magnolia leaf, and memory box small corner
The image is matted with a spellbinders die
The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts and the ribbon is from the Range.
I added some white pearl drops around the picture. A tip for you when adding pearl drops when you put them on your card you end up with a bit of a peak, but if you gently flick the back of the card they will lose the peak don't do it to hard or they will either splat or end up on the wall lol just gently.

So I hope you like my card for today

I have entered this card in La la Lands Blog June Gallery

hope you are all chilling and have a nice long weekend break
Today I have a Saturated Canary image I also coloured up a while ago I do this often sit in bed glass of wine colouring
