I made this little notelet set using a blank card From Craftwork Cards They have a fab tutorial for this but you can only view if you are a member of there privilege club. This is also a smaller version to the one they show. I cut the in half and made a bottom and sides to hold the notelets. I used a circle punch to make the handle. The image is from Mo's Digital pencil which I love The design paper is from magnolia and I distressed and stitched around the edges adding some blue distress inks.
I added some white tulle and lots of lovely pearls and flowers the ribbon is from my stash
I also used my new memory box flowery circle die
The image was coloured with my fabby copics and then some glammour dust for that icy bling

She is the cutest image ever

here is a side view so you can see the notelets
so there you go I hope you like my little project
pop over to CSAYL to join in the challenge and to see my other teamies fab cards

Whimsy Mag Cards

Before I get to my card I want to admit to needing to stop buying stamps lol,  I was in my craft shed tonight I wanted to give another go at colouring with distress inks, I had  bought the harry potter magnolia wizard stamp earlier today so wanted to play. Anyway I was looking around my craft room and I found the whole set of a lili of the valley stamps that's a full release set lots of stamps and 4 magnolia stamps I totally forgot I bought they where tucked away in a craft bag if I had not gone there they would have been there for ages, I nearly bought some of them today again, how bad is that not only do I have stamps I have even inked yet I am forgetting ones I have bought I was very happy I found them it was like buying them all over again lol. Please tell me I am not the only one that has forgot about stamps they have bought.
I was also very naughty this week and bought the new Craft Dragon impress cant wait for it to arrive
I think I need to sit on my hands for a while.
Anyway on to my Card.

I would like to show you a card for the Whimsy inspiration online magazine and omg this mag is stunning full to the brim with fab projects and tutorials and the cards are stunning so I have 2 cards to show you one I made and one my 8yr old made he also did a tutorial to go with his card I think he needs his own craft room lol.

any way here is the mag

I hope you like, I am on page 47 of the mag and you must look at the other fab cards to they are gorg.

Now on to the  second card now this card is very special because it was made by my 8yr old son Toby
and I think he did an amazing job if you check out the mag he is in the kids Section along with a Tutorial of him making the card.

He picked all the papers himself from Limited additions up up and away paper pad
matted with brown card flowers and ribbon from my stash and the leaves are a woodware punch.
he coloured the image with my promarkers (I just couldnt face him using my copics lol) don't you think he did a fab job he coloured the image so well
Well done Toby

Whimsy challenge Distressing

Hi, Everyone! It's Wednesday again so that means it's time for a new challenge over at Whimsy stamps challenge blog
The  topic this week
is Distressing one of my fav
Here is my card using this fab technique

for this card I used the following
Card blank ... Craftwork cards
Blue matting card Bazzil  ... Cuddly Buddly
Digi DP Blue cottage charm ... Whimsy Stamps
New Tulip Butterfly Whimsy Stamps
flowers are from my stash and the pins I made myself
the string beads are from ebay

mash up of the card

For this card I printed out the image 4 times and put it back through my printer and printed the DP over the Butterflys then I cut them out and edge them all with iridescent stickles I then layered them all together and added some pastel pearl flat beads to the middle of the butterfly.
To finish I used one of the new sentiment stamps from Rainbow Echo's Designs available here I love the shape of these stamps they also come with a matching Die which is fab to.
so there you go I hope you like my little creation

OSCC Sketch challenge 179

Hi all sorry this is being posted so late I have had a mare of a time with blogger over the past days I gave up at 1.25 last night trying to schedule my challenge card I tried again early today but no luck I have finally managed to do it at 11 tonight phew was I pleased I was getting a bit worried.
Anyway better late than never I always say so as the post title suggest we have a sketch challenge this week

and the challenge this week is sponsored by

The image I was chose to use is the fabby
Ribbon Dance Pink available here

onto my card

I coloured the image with copics
E000, E101, E11 Skin(I usually use R20 for the cheeks to but the area was just to small
R20, R22, R24, R29 E19 Dress
E30, E33,E37,E29 for the hair
I don't normally do red cards very often, but just fancied colouring this image in red I tend to go for the more pastel colours sometimes by accident more than deliberate design.
The DP is Red Capsule paper pad by papermania and a separate sheet of script paper but can't remember where I got that from
the flowers are from Mulberry Crafts
Ribbon the Range
the red pearls from my stash
The sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly

Pop along to the challenge blog to join in and to see the other gals fab cards and give them some love
