Shabby chic Altered Bottle and Texture paste

Hi folks today I worked on a project using homemade Concrete paste(thats what I call it)
Texure paste

I will add the ingrediants as it where at the bottom I have also done a watch me craft video on my youtube channel if you would like to watch it I have also added a finished video if you dont want to want the whole watch me craft thing lol so for now here are the pictures

The Bottle I bought at the range for about 1.99 I think lol the flowers are a selection of MBfashionista
Fiona Jennings Etsy and Mulberry crafts.
the pearls I also got from Fiona and Ebay
the lace is from Fiona to
I added bling and gems all over the Bottle

I gave the jar 2 coats of gesso and one coat of Acrylic paint
I then added the lace with some acrylic paint
the Texture paste is made from the following

3 tablespoons of Bi-carbonate of soda
1 tablespoon of school glue (pva)
1/2 tablespoon of acrylic paint you can make different colours using different coloured paints
mix it all together and keep in an airtight container until needed

I then dabbed some pale pink acrylic paint in some places not all over

I changed the lid of the bottle because the one that it came with didnt go so I used this fab jumbo gem I got from Etsy
I added some lace an ribbon around the neck and a crystal hanging gem

I added some pearl sprays and some diamond shaped bling inbetweet the flowers
you can see them very well but they are there

so there you go checkout my youtube channel for the finished video or the watch me craft video

today I have a mini tag book to show you
I used lots of mixed media bits on this project stamping, lace embossing loads for a small book

I used a mini tag from crafty emblies used repeat embossing then used gold ink to stamp into the embossing glaze and hey presto I love this little tag
I made the stick pin and added feathers

I did a bit of Zentangle on this bird then stamped a shadow image
I added lace trim which was a light brown but wanted it black so coloured it with a copic in black
a fairy rubon was added with some flowers

lace, stamping, leaves and butterfly added to this tag

This brass owl is actually an earing from primark lol I took it apart and added it with some black bead trim

on this page I stamped some flowers then added some pearl drops and white pen
simple but effective
embossed chipboard bird with black pen zentangle and some stamping
on the other page I used more pieces from crafty emblies embossed them and a little white pen dashes around the outside
so think that is all the pages

Sugar Bowl 101 Challenge Anything goes

Hi folks well again sorry for not being about I have bed ridden the last month
due to one thing and another not going to go into details, but just wanted to say sorry for not
being very active.

So on to this months challenge over at the

Sugar Bowl

The theme is Anything goes
but you must please please use a Sugar Nellie image
if you don't it will be deleted, so please remember although it is anything goes you need a Sugar Nellie image

so for this month I did a mothers day card

Sorry about the image my laptop is not working at the moment so I have to borrow my sons and it has not editing program on it so couldnt crop the background.
the image is from Suger Nellie at funky Kits
and comes in a stamps set called
click name to go stamp set
The paper I used is from my my stash and I cant remember who it is by I am sorry lol
I used a memto ink to stamp first in toffee crunch so I had a slight not line image
which I then coloured with copics
I used small scrabble pieces which I bought of facebook crafty sellers I love them as they are smaller then the normal scrabble letters
I added a string of small bead trim around the image then added some random pearls
I love how this card turned out even though my crafty mojo is a bit muggy due to morphine lol
I think it turn out ok.

so there you go pop along to the Sugar Bowl to join in and to check out my fellow teamies
gorg creations

Soft hugs and crafty vibes
